A Proposal to Remember

Last year on November 17th, Erich asked me to marry him! This year he came home from work at 10 pm because they had an emergency case so he canceled the surprise dinner plans. Sigh. But we have postponed our anniversary for one day and hopefully tonight we will be able to enjoy a celebratory, one year anniversary of the proposal dinner! I am a lucky, happy girl.

A New Addition:Nutella

On May 17, 2008 just about a week before we were married, a miniature dachshund puppy was born in Lowden Iowa...today Nutella is four months old (by the week but I think we will start counting by the date now)!

She is our non-stop entertainment center and always ready with a bundle of energy although she will gladly cuddle on your lap for hours. Her favorite game of the week is hide and seek under the covers. She will dig until she finds you and lick your face with fervor!
